Sustainable for generations

As part of the WOLFF & MÜLLER Group, we at WOLFF & MÜLLER Quarzsande GmbH act according to the Gottlob Müller principle, which goes back to the company founder Gottlob Müller. More than 80 years ago, he recognised that it is possible to combine responsible action with greater economic efficiency.

Comprehensive sustainability strategy

Behind the Gottlob Müller principle is a holistic sustainability strategy to comprehensively fulfil our responsibility as a family business and raw materials producer - in our products and services for our customers, in the world of work, in relation to the environment and resources and towards society.

Committed to our homeland

As a manufacturer of high-quality industrial minerals, we mine raw materials in our plants and thus also shape the habitats of plants, animals and people. It is therefore particularly important to us to minimise the impact on nature at our sites. Species protection plays a central role in this. In our production, we use state-of-the-art technology to minimise energy consumption and emissions. At the same time, we work from the outset to recultivate the areas after utilisation and create ecologically valuable habitats.

Working together to reduce CO2

As part of our sustainability strategy, we support our customers in reducing their carbon footprint. This includes the following measures:

  • Transparent recording of theCO2 footprint of the dry sands we produce in order to make the success of savings measurable and verifiable
  • Recording the proportion of renewable energies in total consumption
  • Participation in the ECOVADIS certification of the holding company
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct
