CERTIFIED QUALITY FROM MINING TO THE END PRODUCT
WOLFF & MÜLLER Quarzsande GmbH has been continuously certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 by the BZNO (BÜV-ZERTIFIZIERUNG NORD-OST GMBH) since 1998.
Since 2022, we have relied on an integrated management system with the components of quality, energy management and occupational health and safety.
We monitor and document all processes from extraction to the end product. Our product quality is based on outstanding raw material deposits and high-performance, modern processing technologies. With our extensive experience and in-house quality management, we develop and produce both standard products and customised solutions.
The standard processes are largely automated. The constant optimisation of our production technologies and the expansion of our raw material deposits enable us to offer even better products to meet our customers' requirements.
High quality requirements apply to our quartz sands. They have a monocrystalline structure, are rounded at the edges, have a light, uniform colour and are available in different grain sizes.
The quartz sands are produced and monitored according to factory standards. For example, the filter sands and gravels are subject to the requirements of DIN EN 12904, DIN EN 15798 and DIN 4924.
The fine and coarse aggregates from our gravel plants are produced and monitored in accordance with the requirements of the harmonised standards DIN EN 12620, 13043, 13139 and 13242.

Our integrated management system consists of:
- Quality management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9011:2015 - certified by BÜV-ZERTIFIZIERUNGNORD-OST GMBH
- Energy management according to DIN EN ISO 50001:2018 - certified by TÜV Thüringen
- Occupational health and safety management in accordance with the "Sicher mit System" seal of approval - assessed by the RCI employers' liability insurance association
- Factory production control for harmonised European standards in accordance with the Construction Products Regulation - certified by bupZert GmbH and Baustoffüberwachungsverein Hessen - Rheinland-Pfalz e. V. (BÜV HR)
